Luke Jones Architects prepared a property masterplan for this beautiful location at Closeburn, just north of Brisbane.  Dressage horses have been accommodated in a carefully considered stables building, while the property layout includes a range of paddocks with shelters and an outdoor arena.

The stables have been designed for the humid Queensland climate, with an open verandah facing the arena and a ventilated back wall above the stables.  The building turns its back on the prevailing weather, creating a sheltered yard facing the arena.
